About

Enqi is a composer and sound designer currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Music Composition at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, China. Her works have been awarded and performed at numerous competitions and festivals around the world.

She is also passionate about enriching musical expression with new technologies. As a developer, her primary focus is on designing sound processing and synthesis toolkits for contemporary composers, drawing from her own experiences as a practitioner.

Plugin/Software:

Designed and implemented an audio plugin and a corresponding standalone software for real-time frequency band splitting, mixing, and morphing, utilizing FFT-based operations to provide precise control over audio timbre and texture shaping. [Github]

Built an audio player to synchronously display music score and recording with an user-friendly interface for timeline markers placement and notation-audio alignment that satisfied particular musicians' demands. [Github]
